Volunteer Opportunities at the Historical Society of Princeton

Unity Garden Volunteers

Help maintain our new organic garden at Updike Farmstead, and see immediate and visible results from your efforts!

Volunteer weekly to tend to the garden, including watering and picking fruits, vegetables and herbs. Excess produce will be donated to Farmers Against Hunger; help will then be needed to coordinate delivery. Additional opportunities include participating in special planting/harvesting days, planning/teaching educational programs and growing ingredients for a local restaurant partnership. Horticultural knowledge is helpful, but not required; must be physically fit.
