From the Native Americans who first tilled the land in New Jersey to today’s Rutgers Cooperative Extension agricultural agents and research farms, innovation is central to New Jersey’s agricultural history. Farmers and agricultural service providers continuously strive to improve New Jersey’s agricultural products and practices.
