Community Park School

Township Elementary School at 371 Witherspoon Street
Opened 1962.

Built in 1962 to serve as a Township elementary school, the two-story Community Park School borders the fields and recreation of neighboring Community Park. The school features a bear mascot. Children at Community Park can participate in the school’s Dual Language Immersion program, in which students are taught in both English and Spanish.

Community Park also takes advantage of its proximity to downtown Princeton, going on field trips to historic sites like Princeton Cemetery.
