8. Masonic Temple

This property at 30 Maclean Street was built by the Elks Club in 1913 and later taken over by the Masons. All Black Masonic Temples are descendants of the Prince Hall organization that began in Boston.

Many meetings, social affairs, dances and receptions have and continue to meet in this building.
