14. Princeton Nursery School

The Princeton Nursery School was started in 1929 by Mrs. Margaret Matthews, who saw the need for day care for the children of the women in the neighborhood who had to work during the day. Her husband, Reverend Paul Matthews, and her friends assisted financially.

Jean Riley, who grew up in this community, was a teacher for 18 years, then the director for 27 years. She retired in 2000.
