Alpha Dairy bill, January 1925. Historical Society of Princeton.

A resident of Princeton Borough since the early 1900s, Louis Kahn provided eggs, butter, cream, and milk to the community through his Alpha Dairy at 36 Witherspoon Street. Kahn was also the landlord for several rental properties in the area. His son Benjamin, who continued to manage rental properties, would be instrumental several decades later in providing a residence (the Yavneh House) Princeton University’s growing Orthodox Jewish community.
