Given the CDC’s recommendations regarding gatherings of 50 or more people, this event has been cancelled. (Elaine Weiss’ 4/21 talk at Princeton Public Library has been cancelled as well.) We will notify participants if these events are rescheduled.
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, join author Elaine Weiss for a discussion of her book, “The Woman’s Hour.”
Weiss’s book is an account of the 1920 ratification of the constitutional amendment that granted voting rights to women. It traces the culmination of seven decades of legal battles and cites the pivotal contributions of famous suffragists and political leaders.
Co-sponsored by the Princeton Public Library.
