Before there was a “Princeton,” Quaker families established a community on the fertile ground along Stony Brook.
This part-lecture, part-2 mile hike explores the lives of the early settlers and the community they established, while following a portion of the trail George Washington took from Trenton to the Princeton Battlefield. Stops include the Stony Brook Meeting House and Burial Ground, walking a portion of the “hidden” back road into Princeton, and a view of the Battlefield.
Starts at Updike Farmstead, 354 Quaker Road.
Tickets are $10. Advanced tickets required – no walk ups will be allowed. The number of available tickets will be listed under “Spaces” below. If there is not a box visible, then there is only one ticket remaining.
Please note: masks required for indoor portions of the tour.
