A House Tour Lecture

As a preview for our 2019 House Tour, join author/historian Clifford Zink for a talk on renowned architect, Rolf W. Bauhan. Princeton’s strong emphasis on revivalist architecture owes much to his legacy; Bauhan designed more than 70 local buildings and renovated or restored another 150 from the 1920s to the mid-1960s. Bauhan is also considered to be Princeton’s first preservation architect, with Colonial Williamsburg engaging him as a consultant. His projects included buildings at Princeton University, The Hun School of Princeton, Trinity Episcopal Church, Mountain Lakes House, and Manor House at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, which is featured on this year’s House Tour.

Tickets for the House Tour will be on sale on-site before and after the lecture for $45, a $5 discount offered to those in attendance.
