PROGRAMMING AND OUTREACH ASSISTANT
HSP is hiring a part-time (25 hours per week) assistant to support the daily and strategic activities of the educational and outreach aspects of our organization. These include:
Educational: Assist with programming from development through implementation, leading programs and tours, coordinating weekly walking tours, and training new staff members.
Guest Services: Assist with general historic site care (i.e. weekly walkthroughs), museum admissions, and serving as first point of contact for guests.
Online Outreach: Assist with social media accounts, content creation, graphic design, and overall online engagement.
Hours and Compensation:
This is a part time, permanent position. Hourly rate of $19 across 25 regularly scheduled hours per week (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday – Sunday) and additional hours as needed for events and programs. Ability to work onsite the majority of scheduled hours, with flexibility for remote work when appropriate.

FACILITIES MANAGER
HSP and D&R Greenway Land Trust are hiring a full-time facilities manager.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player to manage various facilities in support of public use, offices, and meeting space. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and familiar with facilities maintenance and oversight to ensure well-cared for buildings and grounds. The facilities manager will become part of a small team of professionals doing top quality work. The mission of D&R Greenway and our partner in this position, the Historical Society of Princeton (HSP), makes a positive difference for environment and community.
WALKING TOUR GUIDES
The Historical Society of Princeton (HSP) is looking for per-diem walking tour guides to lead historical tours of Princeton. Guides educate locals and out-of-towners on topics including the founding of the University, the American Revolution, and the evolution of the town over time.
This is a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and share Princeton’s stories with visitors from around the world. HSP offers annual enrichment opportunities and other exciting benefits to walking tour guides.
Ideal candidates are in good physical condition, with a passion for history and a love of sharing stories with others. Guides initially volunteer their time to learn the rich cultural history of Princeton. Once trained, guides typically lead 1-3 tours per month and are paid per tour. Availability at least one Sunday per month is required.
